Our Mission

Who We Are

We are a chapter of the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge, located in Pensacola, Florida. As a group, we strive to spread understanding of our government to American citizens of all ages. Our goals are to educate our local citizens, provide scholarships for high school sophomores and juniors to attend Freedoms Foundation’s Spirit of America Youth Leadership Program, honor those in our community who have done honorable service with nominations for National George Washington Honor Medals, and challenge everyone to get involved and to reject apathy. In the fall of each year, we host a POW luncheon and feature a POW as speaker. We welcome all visitors and organizational sponsors to our board meetings and to our events.

Spirit of America Youth Leadership Program

Spirit of America Youth Leadership is a transformative four-day residential program that engages high school students in grades 10-12 from across the country with the first principles of freedom.

The students’ experience is filled with inspiring and educational activities, including a mock congressional debate, free enterprise challenge, workshops, and historical site visits while developing their leadership skills and identifying their future contributions to society. Students live on campus throughout the duration of the program and create new lasting friendships with peers from across the country.

Program Date: April 11-14, 2024
